MY TOP FAVORITE
Schilthorn incl. James Bond Brunch
At 2970 meters above sea level, the Schilthorn is the highest peak in the Pre-Alps. The valley station of the Schilthornbahn AG is located in Lauterbrunnen.
It’s been chugging away since 1892: the Brienz Rothorn Railway puffs past Alpine meadows, streams, rocks and through sparse forests above the tree line to the Brienzer Rothorn at 2351 metres above sea level.
The Chocolate train runs between Montreux and the Cailler-Nestlé chocolate factory at Broc and is a real “must” – not only for the true “sweet tooth” but also for railway enthusiasts.
If Interlaken had a king, he would reside on the Harder Kulm. From the viewing platform at 1,322 metres above sea level he would graciously look down upon Lake Brienz and Lake Thun.
Mount Pilatus – «2,132 opportunities» above sea level: hiking, climbing, cycling, concerts, dining, stories... all waiting to be discovered by guests from Switzerland and abroad – and by you.
